Privacy notice
This notice explains the information handled by DocInsight and the choices available to workspace users.
Information you provide
DocInsight processes the name and access key used to open the workspace, research questions, domain settings, uploaded documents, saved web sources, guardrails, and report content you choose to create.
How information is used
The service uses this information to authenticate access, retrieve relevant source passages, generate requested analysis, save workspace resources, and maintain report history. Research inputs may be sent to the configured language-model provider when an analysis is run.
Optional API keys
Bring-your-own-provider API keys are stored in the browser local storage on the device where they are entered. They are sent with a request only when needed to call the selected provider. Users should remove a key from settings before using a shared device.
Storage and deletion
Uploaded documents and saved web sources remain in the selected knowledge workspace until a user with access removes them or an administrator clears the deployment storage. Browser preferences and optional API-key settings can be cleared from the browser.
External services
DocInsight may retrieve public web pages and may use third-party language-model providers selected by the user or configured by the deployment operator. Those services process data under their own terms and privacy practices.
